Dr. Anneta Caster
After graduating from veterinary school in 2005, I moved to upstate New York and worked in a busy small animal practice. I moved back to Topeka in 2013 to be able to work with my dad in his clinic. I recently became a 1/3 owner partner in the practice. I really enjoy working with pets and clients and seeing how the human-animal bond enriches our lives.
My significant other, Dan, works in Kansas City as well as coaches high school lacrosse. We therefore split our time between the two cities. Born in 2018, our twin boys, Hudson and Tate, keep us very busy! We enjoy Kansas State sports, the Royals and the Chiefs! Until the boys are a little older, we will settle for watching them on TV!!
Dr. Dallas Caster
After graduating from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1967 I gained experience in Nickerson, KS and Ottawa, KS before becoming a partner with Dr. Pete Zander at Auburn Animal Clinic Chtd. I eventually purchased Dr. Zander’s remaining interest when he was ready to retire. I now have the special opportunity of working with my daughter Anneta who is now a 1/3 owner partner as I consider hanging up my bibs one day! I have been raising Nubian goats for many years and have spent a great amount of time helping and treating client’s goats.
Dr. Karma Loughney
I grew up following my veterinarian dad on his appointments in and out of the clinic. I have always been an animal lover so it was natural that I would go to vet school. I joined Auburn Animal Clinic directly following graduation from Kansas State University, and recently became a 1/3 owner partner in the practice.
Any free time I get I enjoy spending with my three children and the various activities they are involved in. We have horses, cattle, turkeys, chickens, goats and various other critters from time to time. My daughter is an animal lover following me around on appointments just like I did with my dad years ago. Will she also become a veterinarian only time will tell!
